why i like CDs and Blu-Ray

CDs

CDs offer fantastic quality uncompressed digital audio that exceeds the quality provided by most streaming services. while apple music and spotify both offer lossless options now, it isn't the default and it doesn't cover their whole libraries.

Blu-Ray

Blu-Ray discs, and especially 4K UHD Blu-Rays, pack massive amounts of data on one disc, allowing for bitrates streaming can't even come close to. services wouldn't come near the concept of 50GiB/movie even if your connection could manage it.

Both

Nobody can decide that you no longer have the relevant rights to content you own on a disc. The only way to lose access to content you enjoy is to physically destroy your copy of it.
