SSH Sites

i recently found out about terminal.shop, a site where you can order coffee over SSH. and it got me thinking, that's not actually a bad idea?

SSH actively prevents you from connecting if the fingerprint of the server you are connecting to is different from what you expect. there's no malicious browser extensions to worry about - your entire terminal program needs to be replaced for anything like that (usually, at least). it gives you nearly the same experience on every possible device - throw something like tinycore on a computer from the late 90s/early 00s and you have a device just as capable for these basic tasks as a brand new machine.

ultimately, if something *can* be done in all text without affecting the experience, it probably should be. even having this website in all-text wouldn't be that hard - though, i'll leave that to the w3m users so as to not alienate the web browser fans.
